Intraoral Cameras
This device allows you to finally see what your dentist is talking about with your own eyes. This small, pen-sized camera can be easily maneuvered through the mouth to capture high-resolution images of the teeth and gums, which we can then display on a large chairside monitor. These will not only make it easier for us to spot small dental issues, but they will also help us explain why you might need a specific treatment.
Digital X-Rays
X-rays have been important to dentistry for a very long time, and thanks to advances in digital technology, they’re now better than ever. With digital X-rays, we can create highly-detailed images of your teeth and gums below the surface almost instantly, and they even expose our patients (and us!) to 90% LESS radiation compared to traditional dental X-rays. Plus, because everything is entirely digital, the images can be easily sent, stored, and displayed on a monitor for you to go over with your dentist.
Digital Impression System
Have you ever needed to have dental crowns placed but didn’t want to bite into the gray impression material that dental offices use? To be honest, we aren’t huge fans of them either. Not only can they be uncomfortable for patients, but they tend to bring in unnecessary human error. Instead, we opt for digital impression scanner technology to capture your smile! Not only is it more detailed and accurate to your actual smile, but it requires zero putty material to complete.
