Here at Conklin and Ward Dental Group, our patients are our first priority. We love to stay in touch with them, educate them about oral healthcare, and show them that we truly care. That’s why we’re starting our blog. We plan on making it a treasure trove of information that helps you achieve and maintain a smile that is both healthy and beautiful. Before we jump into all of that, though, we’d like to take a moment to introduce our practice and let you know what makes us different from other dental practices. We hope you’ll choose us as your dentist in Millersville!
Comprehensive Dental Care in a Comfortable Environment
Drs. Devon Conklin and Charlie Ward are the talented general dentists in our office. They both are passionate about providing personalized, high-quality care to patients. Dr. Conklin has even undergone extra training that enables her to place implants and perform advanced periodontal surgery. Dr. Ward is certified in Invisalign, making him your go-to guy if you would like to experience the joys of a well-aligned smile.
We also have an on-staff periodontist. Dr. Melody Ward, who is married to Dr. Charlie Ward, has an advanced education that enables her to perform all the steps of implant placement and periodontal surgery. Treating gum recession is her specialty.
All of our dentists believe in a patient-first philosophy, as do all of our team members. You’ll feel welcome in our office, and you won’t have any doubts that we genuinely care about your oral health and your overall well-being.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
We’re excited to be accepting new patients! If you decide to give us a try as your “dentist near me,” you’re in for some pleasant surprises. At your past appointments with other dentists, did you ever feel like you were just another job they had to get done? You won’t ever get that feeling at our office because our new patient experience starts well before you settle into that big treatment chair.
First, we’ll escort you to a private conference room. This is your opportunity to express your concerns about your oral health or any dental anxiety that you have, ask any questions about how our practice operates, and let us know about any goals you have for your smile’s appearance. Then, we’ll talk about your treatment plan and begin your exam.
Altogether, your first appointment will probably last one and a half to two hours; we’re generous with our time, and we believe that this personalized, one-on-one attention truly sets our practice apart from the crowd.
